Let the games begin.
Chicago Inno is now accepting nominations for Inno Madness (formerly Tech Madness), our annual bracket competition designed to generate awareness of Chicago's startup ecosystem — and those people and companies that are driving it forward.
How does Inno Madness work? It's easy. We're building a bracket — and we want your input.
Here's how you can take part: Nominate a local startup. We’re looking for private, tech-enabled companies that support innovation. The Chicago Inno team will assemble brackets using the input you provide, and we'll share the resulting bracket matchups in early March.
At that point, companies will go head-to-head throughout subsequent rounds of voting with you, our readers, determining who moves on from every matchup. At the end of all the matchups after the weekly rounds of voting, we'll announce our Inno Madness winner.
This is the eighth year for our Madness competition. Last year, Choobs, a marketplace for socially conscious clothing brands, topped M1 Finance in the final round of voting. Nearly 33,000 votes were cast for Chicago startups through the course of the competition.
Previous winners were Leaf Trade (2020), 2ndKitchen (2019), SpringCM (2018), GetSet (2017), SpotHero (2016) and Kapow Events (2015).
Nominations can be submitted here.
But don't wait! The nomination period for Inno Madness ends on Feb. 6.
