Mobile Doorman

Chicago startup Mobile Doorman named Nitin Vig as its newest CEO. Vig replaces founder Bob Matteson, who is now the executive chairman. Vig joined Mobile Doorman in September, and has previously worked at Motorolaand McKinsey & Company.

Boeing 

Boeing fired CEO Dennis Muilenburg last month amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the two crashes of its 737 Max jets that killed 346 people. Boeing's 737 Max plane has been grounded since March. Taking over for Muilenburg is Dave Calhoun, who's taking the reins from interim CEO Greg Smith in mid-January.

Cresset Capital 

Jessica Malkin, the founding CEO of Chicago Ideas Week, has been named the executive VP of Cresset Capital, a local investment firm. Malkin will join the Cresset team officially in early 2020.

M1 Finance 

Chicago startup M1 Finance hired Maria Selvaggio as its director of people, and Jon Rios as its director of compliance. Selvaggio previously worked at Grubhub, Groupon, and Tempus, and Rios previously worked at Anchorage and Wealthfront.

Project44 

Chicago startup project44 hired David Panitz as VP of global accounts and Brett Williams as regional VP of strategic accounts. Panitz was a former executive at TransVoyant and Williams was formerly an executive at Timble Visibility.

Hireology

Chicago-based Hireology named Ves Atanasov as its VP of product. Atanasov was the former CEO and co-founder of Breez.

Cars.com

Cars.com appointed Jandy Tomy, its VP of treasury and investor relations, to serve as interim CFO after Becky Sheehan stepped down from the position to pursue another opportunity.

Groupon

Chicago e-commerce company Groupon hired John Higginson as its next CTO. Higginson was the former CTO of Enova.

NuCurrent

Chicago wireless charging startup NuCurrent named Jay Knobloch as its executive VP of Intellectual Property. He was previously an executive at Trading Technologies.

VillageMD

Chicago health-tech company VillageMD, which last year raised $100 million in funding, hired Chris Ricaurte as its CFO. Ricaurte was a former executive at General Electric.

Forager

Chicago logistics upstart Forager named Marc Kiven as president. Kiven founded marketing tech startup Signal, and before that worked at companies like Atlas, Right Media and Chicago-based Centro. The startup also announced that it added Eric Lunt to its board of directors. Lunt was a former Feedburner co-founder and current director of engineering at VSCO's Chicago office.

Cambium Networks

Cambium Networks, the Rolling Meadows-based wireless networking company that went public earlier this year, hired Mary Peterson as its senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Peterson was most recently vice president of global marketing for Ruckus Networks.
