Cameo hired Stefan Heinrich Henriquez as its chief marketing officer. Heinrich joins Cameo from TikTok, the popular video app that’s reportedly grown to more than 1 billion users. As TikTok’s head of global marketing, Heinrich helped drive the company’s growth in the United States.
Apervita, a Chicago-based healthcare technology firm, named Kevin Hutchinson as its next CEO. Hutchinson was the founding CEO and president of Surescripts, a healthcare company that grew to become the largest care coordination network in the country. The hire comes after Apervita merged with Boston-based Qcentive earlier this month.
Accenture has named Sandra Reese as its Midwest Lead for Accenture Strategy, where she'll be responsible for the firm’s operations across the Midwest. She has spent the last four years at Accenture, working as a managing director. Prior to Accenture, Reese held executive roles at McKinsey and Grant Thornton.
Home Chef, the meal kit delivery service that was bought by Kroger, has promoted Alice Thompson to the role of chief operating officer. She was most recently Home Chef’s vice president and interim head of operations. Prior to Home Chef, she served as global systems manager for London-based CRCC Asia, where she managed sales teams across Australia, Italy, the UK and the US.
Shiftgig, a Chicago-based workforce software startup, has hired Thulasi Kethini to be its chief technology officer. She most recently served as Morningstar's Director of Technology, Workplace Solutions.
Chicago startup Tanvas announced today that it has hired Phillip LoPresti as its next CEO. LoPresti was previously at Everspin, where he served as president and CEO and led the company through an IPO. Tanvas is a surface haptics company that allows people to feel what they see on a touchscreen.
NuCurrent, a Chicago startup developing antennas for wireless technology like phone chargers, has named Stephen G. Wasko its chief financial officer. He has extensive technology commercialization experience, previously leading an IPO for Illinois Superconductor Technology when he was the company’s CFO. He also served as the CFO for Nanosphere, a Northbrook, Ill.-based life sciences company.
VentureSCALE, a Chicago sales startup accelerator, has named Todd Caponi its new managing director. He was most recently the chief revenue officer at Chicago tech company PowerReviews.
