Glassdoor is adding dozens of tech jobs in Chicago as its local office continues to grow quickly.

Glassdoor announced this week that it's expanding its product and software engineering operations in its Fulton Market office. The growing tech office in Chicago is Glassdoor's first U.S. engineering team located outside of its San Francisco Bay Area office.

Glassdoor, a site that lets employees leave reviews about their employer, opened a Chicago office in 2016. Since then it has grown its Chicago outpost to 250 employees and expects to be at 400 employees "in the coming years."

"In less than three years, this office has grown into one of Glassdoor's largest employee centers, in large part due to the city's incredible talent pool," Glassdoor President and COO Christian Sutherland-Wong said in a statement. "We look forward to building a stellar product and engineering group here."

To keep up with its quickly growing Chicago headcount, Glassdoor has increased its Fulton Market office space from 35,000 to 52,000 square feet.

Glassdoor said it's hiring in Chicago for front-end, back-end, machine learning and test engineers, as well as data scientists, product managers and designers.

Glassdoor is among several big-name tech companies that have expanded their presence in Chicago---particularly through tech jobs. Facebook and Google both have ambitious plans for growth in the Windy City, while Coinbase, Yelp, Foursquare, and others have made office moves in Chicago in recent years. Amazon announced Chicago and a handful of other cities will see increased hiring as it disperses jobs away from its planned HQ2 office in New York.
