To help Chicagoans make it to the polls on election day, ride-hailing company Lyft and car-sharing company Car2Go are offering discounted rides to voting centers.

Any Lyft rider can use code VOTECHICAGO19 for 50 percent off all rides up to $5 to local polling locations. Meanwhile, Car2Go, which launched in Chicago over the summer, is also offering discounted rates on Tuesday, giving its members a $20 credit toward renting a vehicle they plan to take to the polls.

This isn’t the first time Lyft has run this kind of promotion in Chicago. To celebrate Black History Month, Lyft has been providing riders with free and discounted ride to black cultural institutions in Chicago all throughout February.

“At Lyft, we believe that every voice is important and we want to make sure our Chicago community is heard during this mayoral election,” said David Katcher, the general manager for Lyft Chicago, in a statement. “Our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation, and we’re thrilled to help remove transportation as a barrier to vote and help Chicagoans exercise their right to vote.”
