In 2018, you can order nearly everything online. From clothing to groceries and even cars, online retailers want to deliver what you need directly to your door.
But what about when it comes to Christmas trees? Since the beginning of time, people have either ventured into the forest to cut down their own or have opted for the easier option of visiting tree farms. But now, it is in fact possible to order a real Christmas tree online and have it delivered right to your door.
Here’s a list of companies that do:
Dolly: Seattle delivery startup Dolly delivers Christmas trees right to your door for as little as $50. Dolly sources the trees from Lowe’s, and allows buyers to pick a fir species and a size, ranging from 5 to 7 feet.
Amazon: As of this year, Amazon began selling Hallmark Christmas Trees, which start at $109. Buyers can order them from anywhere in the country and get them delivered within one to two weeks.
City Tree Delivery: This Chicago-based company will not only deliver a real, fresh-cut tree to your door, but help you set it up and recycle it once the holidays are over. The company, founded in 2009, sources its Fraser Fir trees from Michigan and Wisconsin.
A Tree to Your Door: The online Christmas tree retailer, near Lake City, Michigan, sells fir and pine trees. A 5-foot tree starts at $53. Once an order is placed, trees are harvested and shipped within 24 hours.
Green Valley Christmas Trees: This California-based Christmas tree farm sells trees online and delivers them nationwide via FedEx. They offer a wide selection of fir species, from Fraser Firs and Noble Firs, to Balsam and Nordmann Firs. The company says each tree is carefully hand-inspected by farmers before they are shipped to ensure that it meets quality standards. Trees start at $103.
