G2 Crowd

Godard Abel, a serial entrepreneur and the founding CEO of Chicago startup G2 Crowd, is once again the software review platform’s top executive. Abel co-founded G2 Crowd in 2012 but left the startup when his other business Steelbrick sold to Salesforce for $360 million in 2016. After working as the SVP/GM at Salesforce for about a year, Abel returned to G2 Crowd as the company’s executive chairman in July 2017.

Tim Handorf, G2 Crowd’s co-founder and current CEO, will transition to chief of product—also his original role when G2 Crowd launched. In addition, Matt Gorniak, also one of G2 Crowd’s co-founders, is returning as the startup’s chief revenue officer. For the past two years, he served as SVP of Global Quote-to-Cash Sales at Salesforce.

Outcome Health

Local tech company Outcome Health hired Matt McNally as its next chief executive and he will be based out of the company’s New York office. McNally was previously an executive at advertising company Publicis Health, where he served as group president/chief media officer and oversaw four agencies within Publicis: Digitas Health, Publicis Health Media, Insync and Verilogue.

Shortly after McNally was named CEO, Outcome’s co-founders Rishi Shah and Shradha Agarwal stepped down from their chairman and vice chairman roles, respectively.

Re:Work

Re:Work, a nonprofit sales training program that helps minority candidates find jobs, named Shelton Banks, an experienced sales executive who has worked at Groupon, Nordstrom and most recently Sprout Social, as its next chief executive, taking over for founder Harrison Horan. Horan, who launched the program in 2016, will remain board chairman.

Scout Exchange

The Chicago-based startup that makes a platform for marketplace recruiting hired Amanda Walrath as its managing director of program delivery. In her new role, Walrath will be responsible for designing and delivering recruiting and workforce programs that meet client goals. She served most recently as the divisional vice president of client services for Shiftwise.
