ParkWhiz
ParkWhiz announced it has hired Dan Roarty as its president of consumer brands and marketplace. Roarty comes to ParkWhiz from Groupon, where he led the deal site's marketplaces initiative. He also held leadership positions at Orbitz and Vast.com.
Dose
Dose, the digital publishing startup from Emerson Spartz, announced it has hired Aric Lapera, the former vice president of brand strategy at Buzzfeed. Lapera joins Dose as the company's vice president of West Coast operations, where he will lead the sales on the West Coast.
Gogo
Gogo announced it has hired Barry Rowan as its chief financial officer. Rowan joins the Chicago-based in-flight WiFi provider from agricultural tech startup Cool Planet, where he served as CFO. He also held executive roles at Vonage and Nextel Partners.
Serra Ventures
John Giuliani, president and CEO of Conversant, is joining Champaign-based Serra Ventures as venture partner. He led Conversant to a $2.3 billion exit to Alliance Data in December 2014, and was previously an executive at advertising company Dotomi, which was sold for $295 million.
Bento for Business
Bento for Business, a provider of employee expense management solutions for small businesses, announced it has hired Lou Friedmann as its chief revenue officer. Friedmann was previously SVP of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at online small business insurance agency Insureon, and before that led marketing at optionsXpress from its founding through its IPO.
Matter
Matter, a Chicago health tech hub based in the Merchandise Mart, has hired Josh Chapman, the former CEO of medical crowdfunding platform GiveForward, as its first COO.
Uptake
Laura Desmond, former CEO of Starcom Mediavest, will be an advisor to fast-growing predictive analytics unicorn Uptake. She was also chief revenue officer for Publicis Groupe.

ReviewTrackers announced it has hired Erik Skurka as its new VP of product. He previously held leadership roles at PowerReviews and Cars.com.
Tempus
Tempus, a Chicago startup from Groupon founder Eric Lefkofsky that's using genomic sequencing and big data to help hospitals fight cancer, announced it has hired Erik Phelps as its executive vice president and general counsel. Phelps previously served as general counsel at Epic, a software company that provides electronic health records for hospitals.
Outcome Health
Outcome Health (formerly ContextMedia) announced it has hired Blake Chandlee as EVP of industry solutions and emerging businesses.Chandlee comes to Outcome Health from Facebook, where he joined the social networking giant in 2007 to lead the startup's growth overseas. He was Facebook's first UK employee, and spent four years growing Facebook's international business out of the London office before returning to the US to lead Facebook's global agency businesses and global accounts team.
