Future Founders, the Chicago-based organization that supports elementary school, high school, college aged and recent graduate entrepreneurs, just announced the founders who will take part in their 2017 year-long fellowship.
The year-long fellowship seeks to support the country's top student entrepreneurs through mentoring, entrepreneurship retreats, a peer community, and volunteer opportunities.
Startups in this year's fellowship represent 15 schools in nine states (five of the founders are from Illinois schools). Ventures range from Aunt Flow, a subscription tampons and pads service, to Aubrey's Jerky, a line of superfood beef jerky, to Bilder, a site for finding and supporting local crowdfunding projects.
