Chetan Ghai, the chief product officer at Narrative Science, is speaking at the Gleacher Center Thursday at an event called Storytelling From Data at Scale. Trading Technologies is hosting its Algo Showcase on Friday, which brings together college students with an interest in trading and some of Chicago’s top trading firms in a “Shark Tank”-style environment. Located at 222 S. Riverside Plaza, the event will feature students from Illinois Institute of Technology, Indiana, Wisconsin, Case Western and Johns Hopkins as they represent their schools and compete against one another.
