Watch Dude Wipes' Crazy First Ad Featuring Mark Cuban

Dude Wipes doesn't take itself too seriously (it's a product for guys to clean their butts, after all). But the company is no joke.

Founded in Chicago, the startup appeared on Shark Tank in 2015 and got an investment from Mark Cuban, who put $300,000 in Dude Wipes for 25% of the company.

Now, we're seeing a part of how the Cuban relationship has benefited Dude Wipes as the investor and Dallas Mavericks owner has appeared in the company's first online ad. Titled "Take it to the Hole with DUDE Wipes," the YouTube video features a cameo from Cuban, who did the spot for no charge, co-founder Ryan Meegan said via email. The ad is the startup's first professionally produced commercial.

Founded by four lifelong friends in Chicago, Dude Wipes makes a 44-square inch wipe that has vitamin E and aloe, is fragrance free and hypoallergenic, and is flushable and biodegradable. The company's website says it sells at more than 2,500 locations including at Target, Kroger and Bass Pro Shops. Dude Wipes is also available through the Amazon Dash button.

Meegan also noted that Dude Wipes is planning to be in 5,500 Walgreens stores in February, and the company launched its first subscription service.

Check out the video above. Fair warning: It's pretty silly.
