Belly, a loyalty platform that helps businesses offer customizable rewards to customers, has raised almost $25 million since it launched, including from high-profile investors like Andreessen Horowitz, New Enterprise Associates, and Chicago firm Lightbank, where the company was founded while LaHive was an entrepreneur-in-reidence.
The company has gone through multiple staffing changes in recent months. This year its co-founder and CTO Craig Ulliott left the company to work on a new startup, and Ulliott's successor Fred Lee left Belly in August. Belly also announced plans to shift its product focus towards partnerships with major retailers, according to Blue Sky.
Daniel Gloede joined Belly in 2012 and served as VP of accounting and operations and EVP of finance before taking the COO position in March 2016.
