In case you (somehow) missed it-- the Chicago Cubs won the World Series.
While fans in Wrigleyville and beyond celebrated by storming the streets, honking their horns and flying "W" flags out their windows, Uber and apparel brand Fanatics are continuing the celebrations today with a surprise for a few lucky fans: A visit from Cubs legend Andre Dawson.
At 10 a.m. today you can request a "CHAMPS" Uber in your app and, if connected, an Uber driver will show up to your door with exclusive Cubs World Series Fanatics apparel for purchase (hat for $28, t-shirt for $28).
But that's not all--Uber said former Cubs outfielder Andre Dawson (also known as "Awesome Dawson" and "The Hawk"), will ride along with Uber and surprise a select few fans with a visit.
This isn't the first time Uber has partnered with brands for Cubs-related promos. Earlier in the series, Uber and Jim Beam teamed up to give away 10,000 rides (up to $20) to "make sure Chicago Cubs fans get home safely."
