Is Your Neighborhood With Trump or Clinton? [Map]

We're a week and a half away from the 2016 presidential election (thank God), which means the last bit of campaign cash is trickling in before things are official on Nov. 8. And as people begin early voting and prepare to cast their ballot next month, have you ever wondered how your neighbors are leaning?

Real estate startup RentHop has taken campaign donation data to map the unique donors each candidate has in zip codes across Chicagoland. Not surprisingly, Hillary Clinton has outperformed Donald Trump in traditionally blue Cook County, where she's raised $9.59 million from 9,829 donors. Trump has raised $587,054 from 2,704 Cook County donors.

But as soon as you head West of the city, Trump's support increases. For example, he has 67% of the donors in McHenry and Will Counties.

These are Clinton's best performing zip codes:

  • 60653 (Bronzeville) – 23 donors to Trump’s 0 – 100% donor share
  • 60637 (Hyde Park/ UChicago) – 141 donors to Trump’s 2 – 97.2%
  • 60622 (Wicker Park) – 213 donors to Trump’s 8 – 95.2% donor share
  • 60202 (Evanston) – 242 donors to Trump’s 12 – 95.3% donor share
  • 60657 (Lake View) – 540 to Trump’s 25 – 94.4% of donors
  • 60614 (Lincoln Park) – 646 donors to Trump’s 38 – 94% donor share

And here are Trump's best Chicagoland areas:

  • 60084 (Wauconda) – 22 to Clinton’s 3 – 88% of donors
