Chicago Inno Approved: The Startup Events You Need to Know This Week

Monday

General Assembly, in collaboration with AIGA and Leo Burnett, is hosting a panel discussion that will feature some of Chicago's best designers, covering key events, companies, people, currenty issues and career paths in the industry. Tuesday

Women Who Code is hosting a screening of the documentary "Code: Debugging the Gender Gap." The viewing will be followed by a fishbowl discussion. For more information, click here.

Wednesday

Dev Bootcamp will be hosting a talk with PyLadies organizer Lorena Mesa, who will speak on how Python can be used to help us classify whether an email is a piece of spam mail or ham mail. For more information, click here.

Thursday

Chicago Inno is hosting Inno U Challenge, which will bring together student-founded startups from across Chicago for a night of networking and collision. The event will begin with a fireside chat featuring one of the city's top innovators, after which two or three student-founded startups will present their businesses or ideas to the audience. Friday

ACT-W is hosting the first annual ACT-W Conference to Advance Careers of Technical Women, which will include workshops, sessions, one-on-on coaching sessions and a career fair.
