Relativity, a fast-growing Chicago tech company that makes legal software, is naming high-profile techie and LinkedIn veteran Mike Gamson its next CEO. Gamson, who will replace Andrew Sieja, begins his new role July 1. Sieja, Relativity’s founder, will transition to executive chairman. Gamson, who joined Relativity’s advisory board back in 2017, spent nearly 12 years at LinkedIn, where he was most recently its senior vice president of global solutions.
Jellyvision has hired Jonathan Mendes to be its VP of partner strategy and innovation. Mendes comes to Jellyvision from Aon, where he served as director of corporate development.
Logistics tech startup FourKites has named Vivek Vaid its CTO. Vaid previously was the chief data officer at Uptake.
Walter Sherwood has been named the CEO at Chicago ed-tech startup ThinkCERCA. Sherwood was previously the chief business development officer at New Meridian.
Ad-tech firm Signal has hired Lisa Weinstein as its next chief executive. She perviously was the CEO of Curiosity.
Hyde Park Venture Partners has hired Allison Weil as a senior associate. She comes to HPVP from Chicago startup Civis Analytics. She also co-founded Flag Analytics, a predictive analytics company focused on public safety.
Chicago online furniture startup Interior Define announced that it has hired Antonio Nieves as its next CEO. Nieves replaces founder Rob Royer, who is becoming chairman of the board. Nieves previously served as CEO of women’s apparel retailer ModCloth, and before that was the COO and CFO of fashion retailer Bonobos.
Revolution Enterprises, an Illinois-based cannabis operator, announced that it has hired Alissa Jubelirer, a senior legal and compliance executive at Groupon, as its general counsel. Jubelirer served as Groupon's vice president, deputy general counsel, and chief compliance officer.
Chicago recruitment tech company Hireology announced it has hired Kevin Knapp as its CFO. Knapp previously served as Chief Financial Officer at CareerBuilder for 14 years. Before CareerBuilder, Knapp was part of the original leadership team that launched Cars.com.
