Chicago insurance tech startup Snapsheet announced that it has hired Jamie Yoder as its president. Yoder joins Snapsheet from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he led its Insurance Advisory practice for the last eight years.
Seed CX
Chicago-based cryptocurrency startup Seed CX announced that it has named John Hart its new chief information officer. Hart was previously the managing director of technology engineering for CME Group.
DMDII
The Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII) in Chicago announced that Chandra Brown will be its next executive director. Brown, who started on Sept. 26, was previously the deputy assistant secretary of manufacturing at the U.S. Department of Commerce and president of Green Endeavor, a startup that helped industries replace harmful chemicals with more effective, affordable and greener alternatives.
CDW
CDW has a new CEO. The Chicago-based tech product maker announced that longtime exec Christine Leahy will replace outgoing CEO Tom Richards, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Otus
Chicago-based ed-tech startup Otus has named Seth Gurss its new chief sales officer. Gurss was most recently the regional vice president for Frontline Education. In his new role at Otus, Gurss will be working to expand national sales for the K-12 all-in-one platform.
Groupon
Groupon announced that it has named SarahButterfass as its new chief product officer. She will oversee the company’s global product organization to help enhance the customer experience. Butterfass joins Groupon from E*TRADE, where she was senior vice president and head of customer experience.
CareerBuilder
The recruitment platform announced that it has promoted Irina Novoselsky, its president and COO, to the role of CEO. She takes over for Matt Ferguson, who now becomes executive chairman.
Shipbob
Chicago e-commerce logistics startup Shipbob announced the hirings of Paul Rosen as chief revenue officer and Casey Armstrong as chief marketing officer. Rosen joins ShipBob from CoverWallet where he served as chief operations officer, and Armstrong was formerly the VP of Marketing at BigCommerce.
