Review Trackers, a Chicago-Based company that builds software for businesses to monitor their online reviews, has raised $2 million in funding, the company announced.
The Series A funding came from mostly Wisconsin investors, where Review Trackers just finished the Gener8tor's startup accelerator, according to Xconomy. Leading the round was Milwaukee-based CSA Partners, American Family Ventures, Milwaukee angel investor Jeff Rusinow, and SymphonyAlpha Ventures, among others.
Review Trackers will use the funding to accelerate growth, double the size of its engineering team, and introduce new functionality to help businesses better manage their reputation, the company said on its website.
Founded in 2012, Review Trackers' software collects reviews from the major online review sites, as well as review aggregators like OpenTable, Google, Yelp, Cars.com and others. Businesses can receive notifications when reviews are posted, analyze review data, and track the performance of different company locations.
