Applications are now open for Venture Atlanta, an annual conference that creates opportunities for investors to connect with promising technology companies.
Venture Atlanta 2019 will be October 16-17 at the Southern Exchange, 200 Peachtree, downtown Atlanta.
VA is the largest tech conference in the region. This year they’re expecting 280+ investors and 900+ attendees — and they want Charlotte to represent. To date, Venture Atlanta companies have raised over $4 billion and garnered over $14 billion in exits.
Two Opportunities
There are two opportunities for startups at the conference:
- Growth stage companies can apply to present on stage. Presenting companies also receive coaching ahead of the event, access to exclusive events, and ongoing coverage by the Venture Atlanta marketing and PR teams.
- Early stage companies can apply to present in the Startup Showcase. These companies will have a dedicated presentation space in the main hall during the event’s official cocktail party. Showcase companies also receive ongoing coverage by the Venture Atlanta marketing and PR teams.

This isn’t just a pitch event for startups — it’s a chance for companies at any stage looking to raise money to connect with the hundreds of investors who will be in attendance,” said Paul Iaffaldano, BIP Capital Chief Investment Officer and Venture Atlanta Board Member.

“I always tell entrepreneurs there is nothing to lose by applying, only gain,” commented Allyson Eman, Venture Atlanta Executive Director. “There’s no cost to apply, and there’s no cost if your company is selected — you will even have a committee of investors reading your executive summary directly.”
How to Apply
VA encourages early stage and high-growth technology companies in the Southeast looking to raise capital in the next 12-18 months to apply. Applying is free, and chosen presenters will attend the conference free of charge.
