Two more Charlotte startups will pitch at the first-ever Southeast Fintech Venture Conference, to be held Monday, Nov. 20.

Last week, the conference, organized by local accelerator Queen City Fintech, unveiled the second and final batch of startups slated to present at the conference. The two Charlotte-based startups included in that group are:

Catapult (Charlotte, NC): A request for proposal platform that allows both the requestor and responder to collaborate within a single portal, while providing automation features to streamline the process for responders.

ThreatSwitch (Charlotte, NC): Software as a Service (SaaS) for any company subject to strict security and cybersecurity regulations.

Both companies recently competed for a $50,000 prize at the CLT Veteran Startup Showcase, organized by Manoj Govindan, vice president of corporate development at Levvel, and Brandon Shelton, former Army officer and founder and managing partner of TFX Capital, an advisory and venture capital firm focused on growing seed and early stage veteran businesses and startups.

The other Charlotte startups scheduled to pitch at the upcoming conference include Honeyfi, Payzer and uBack. In total, 17 startups from across the Southeast will participate in the event.

The goal for the conference is to showcase the talent and innovation that exists in the Southeast. The conference will also serve as Demo Day for Class 7 of Queen City Fintech, which invites startups from around the world to spend 12 weeks incubating in the Charlotte and Southeast ecosystem.
