Charlotte is changing and EY wavespace™ has found a home in one of its fastest growing neighborhoods.
As part of a global network of growth and innovation centers, Charlotte’s new wavespace, which will be located in the South End, is a place for digital communities to gather, find new ways of working and explore emerging technologies.
EY wavespaces, which launched in 2017, are in a handful of emerging and established tech hubs globally, including Amsterdam, Mexico City, New York, Santa Monica, São Paulo, Trivandrum, India, Toronto and more.
When it was revealed in February, 2018 that a wavespace was coming to Charlotte, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper remarked at the time that “North Carolina is a powerhouse for financial and professional services because of the ambitious, talented people who live and work here and the educational and training resources at their fingertips. The EY wavespace innovation center in Charlotte will create even more opportunities for North Carolinians to develop new ideas and creative solutions.”
The Charlotte center will help clients face the challenges and opportunities of continuous change, digitization and disruption in their industries, with a focus on specific industry disruptors that impact the firm's clients' growth strategies in financial services, energy and beyond.
Each month, EY will share its latest insights around the NextWave of industries impacting the Charlotte market. What is the NextWave of Consumer Financial Services? Read the latest from EY wavespace™ to find out. Click here.
