We've reached the final round of this year's Inno Madness bracket challenge. The remaining competitors — ETHIX360 and Oxit — will go head to head this week for bragging rights as Inno Madness champion.

Charlotte Inno launched the bracket challenge earlier this month to highlight some of the best innovation our ecosystem has to offer. The competition started with 16 companies, spanning a range of industries from energy to manufacturing to health care. Every vote counts. Our first rounds were full of close calls. Readers have submitted more than 7,400 total votes, including well over 2,200 in the latest round.

In the third round round, No. 4 seed ETHIX360 pushed past No. 8 Huck Cycles with 56.6% of the vote. Oxit, a No. 6 seed, prevailed over No. 15 Emporos with 53.6% of the vote.

Check out the final results here.

Remember that seeding is random. Let's take one more look at our final two competitors.

  • ETHIX360 (No. 4): ETHIX360 is a software provider that works to make compliance straightforward and effective with employee ethics communication, integrated case management and policy solutions. Multiple bundle offers help clients customize their experience. Its clients, collectively, support operations in more than 60 countries across six continents, according to the website.
  • Oxit (No. 6): Launched in 2014, Oxit is an Internet of Things consulting service that creates solutions and products for the global business marketplace. It partners with clients in all aspects of smart technology, including design, prototypes, development and launch. Oxit is led by UNC Charlotte alumnus Josh Cox, who also helped build the former Halo Smart Labs.

Keep the momentum going! Voting for the final round starts today at noon and ends at 11:59 p.m. on March 29. Readers may cast one vote per round. This year's champion will be announced on March 30.
