Charlotte's own Queen City Fintech, an accelerator that works exclusively with fintech startups, has announced the nine startups from across the global that will participate in its eleventh cohort.

The 12-week program, which kicks off Sept. 3, runs twice a year. Boasting the sponsorship of a host of major banks like Fifth Third and Wells Fargo, it accepts post-revenue startups and exposes them to "intense mentorship" from a wide spectrum of industry thought leaders. It also invests about $40,000 per company, with opportunities for follow-on funding for top performers (thanks in part to work with Queen City Fintech’s accelerator partner, CFV Ventures).

The members of the fall cohort will present their concepts at the conclusion of the program, during a Demo Day at the Venture135 conference on Nov. 21.

“The selection committee universally agreed that Class 11 is the most advanced group of startups we have ever seen in the program and we can’t wait to see their progress and future success," said Queen City Fintech Founder and Managing Director Dan Roselli.
