Charlotte Inno is back with The Fire Awards to kick off 2024.

This awards program honors the people, companies and organizations that keep the Charlotte area's innovation ecosystem going. We celebrate the startup, tech-focused and innovative achievements of the previous year across a variety of industries.

Honorees reflect Charlotte’s ecosystem at large: a collection of people and organizations in different roles, stages and categories that are blazing a trail.

Two dozen finalists have been selected across six categories, with one winner in each category to be named during The Fire Awards cocktail reception on Feb. 15 at uptown restaurant Church and Union Charlotte. Find details and register for that event here.

Each finalist will be highlighted in a special report to be published in print and online on Feb. 16.

The list was curated through community nominations, Charlotte Inno reporting and input from industry leaders. The team considered factors such as funding, revenue growth, mission and future potential when selecting the honorees.
