'Office' Envy: Inside Ellicottville Greens' shipping containers-turned-farm

Not every tech-enabled startup company has a traditional office.

Ellicottville Greens – led by founder and CEO Gabe Bialkowski – is building a business around its organic vertical farms. The idea is to grow healthy produce in close proximity to the businesses that will be using it, a cost-effective solution for the “eat local” movement.

The company is based in Ellicottville but also has an operations hub at the Eastern Hills Mall property in Clarence, which serves as a location for growing and a showroom of sorts.

Bialkowski showed Business First photographer Joed Viera around.
