Three local startup companies with underrepresented founders are getting their chance in front of Launch NY's Investor Network.
The network includes more than 210 accredited investors, who make investments alongside Launch NY for-profit and nonprofit funding vehicles.
The minimum investment for the three deals has been reduced to $5,000.
The companies include:
Arbol, founded by first-generation Latino college graduates Favio Osorio and David Gonzalez, is building a high-growth business model around the goal of keeping low-income students in college through graduation.
Osorio and Gonzalez met while working at M&T Bank and started Arbol last year. The deal is now in front of Investor Network members.
