Thursday, November 9

Suffolk Technologies — BOOST 4 Demo Day: The event will feature seven companies across the built environment that have spent the last six weeks with the Suffolk Technologies team solving their biggest business challenge. Each company will have 10 minutes to present to the audience and field any questions. The event will be at Suffolk Construction’s headquarters from 1-5 p.m. Tickets are free.

Thursday, November 9

From Passion to Prosperity — Empowering Latina Entrepreneurs: In three hours, this event will feature talks from trailblazing business owners, a small business showcase and networking. This free event is from 5-8 p.m. at 60 South St.

Sunday, November 12

Girls Into VC 2023 Summit: This event is a gathering for women and allies dedicated to reshaping the venture capital and startup landscape. They hope to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of female leaders in the industry. The summit is hosted by the group Girls Into VC, which was founded by Harvard University student Isabella Mandis. The full-day event is taking place in Cambridge and is free to attend.

Tuesday, November 14

EmTech MIT 2023: MIT Technology Review's flagship event on emerging technologies will be hosted on the MIT campus November 14-15. EmTech MIT unwraps the technologies and trends driving social and commercial impact and offers trustworthy guidance needed to navigate the ever-changing landscape of a world driven by technology. This year’s event will focus on AI, climate change and biotech. Tickets for a single day of the conference cost $1,450.

Wednesday, November 15

Fintech and Education — The Future of Personal Finance: Silicon Bank Valley is hosting this event to bring together industry experts, educators, and enthusiasts to discuss the impact technology has on personal finance education. Whether you're in higher education, banking, VC, or simply curious about the future of personal finance, SVB says this event is for you. The event kicks off with networking then goes into a discussion with ProsperOn, Fidelity and SVB. Grab your free ticket.

MassChallenge BlueTech Showcase: Come and meet the bluetech startups taking part in MassChallenge’s programming this fall. The program’s partners will also be in attendance, including teams from 401 Tech Bridge, BAE Systems, and MITRE. The event takes place at MassChallenge’s HQ on Fan Pier from 5-8 p.m.

Thursday, November 16

The Future of Offshore Wind — Innovation + Startup Showcase: Come celebrate the culmination of Go Energize 2023, a Greentown Go startup-corporate partnerships accelerator program focused on decarbonizing our energy system, in partnership with Vineyard Wind and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. Attendees will hear the Go Energize 2023 cohort speak about their technologies and how these innovations will enable a sustainable and economically feasible offshore wind industry. The Greentown Labs event will run from 5:30 - 8 p.m. and tickets are free.
