Thursday, Sept. 7

Matchmaking for Success — Startup Career Fair and Co-Founder Matching: Hosted by Boston New Technology, Prepare4VC, and Venture Café Cambridge, this event wants to help entrepreneurs build strong relationships with like-minded people. Melis Dural, the founder of EKOS.ai, will kick things off with a talk on the power of genuine connections in the startup landscape. The in-person, free event starts at 5 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 7

The Art of Delegation: CIC will host this webinar at 11 a.m. to noon. It will cover topics like why the art of delegation is such a critical leadership skill, identify which tasks and teammates to delegate work and how to monitor without micromanaging. Get a free ticket to the event.

Monday, Sept. 11 — Friday, Sept. 15

Startup Boston Week: This week-long event features about 100 events and 300 speakers on topics like go-to-market success, data, raising venture capital and much more. This event is hybrid. Content will be available both in person at Suffolk University and virtually. It’s completely free to attend Startup Boston Week and open to everyone from students and people who are startup curious to founders behind multiple companies.

Wednesday, Sept. 13

Boston TechJam: Boston TechJam is an innovation festival that showcases companies’ brands, products, and culture and offers an amazing opportunity for fun team building, while fostering networking with potential partners, customers, and investors. An admission ticket including food and a drink is $25, or $10 without refreshments. Check out the event on Lawn on D from 4-8 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 13

Emerging Entrepreneurs in Boston: Engage with four new entrepreneurs who are making moves in Boston. Come to the Fierce Urgency of Now Festival for a conversation about their journey to entrepreneurship and how their experiences have not only been shaped by living in diverse areas of Boston but are transforming the city. The leaders include Jonathan Chang of Markit, BerlendahDure of Renavest, Eric Moyal of Project Insulin and Therlande of Side Presents. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Roxbury Innovation Center, and tickets are free.

Thursday, Sept. 14

Views, Vibes, & Vision — Creating A Vibrant Downtown: This event is a networking opportunity for young professionals in a space overlooking the central business district at 1 Federal St. Enjoy complimentary craft beer, wine, and appetizers. Networking is from 6-8 p.m. Reserve your spot for free.

Thursday, Sept. 14

Venture Lane Blue Hour + Cohort Reveal: The usual monthly edition of Venture Lane’s Blue Hour, which includes networking a speaker series, will also include the announcement of Venture Lane Studio’s fourth cohort. Tickets are free and the event is from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 18

Techstars Boston Annual Boat Cruise: Come celebrate the new Techstars Boston class. The event will also help raise money for the Maui Strong Fund. This event is open to all current Techstars founders, staff, mentors and alumni, regardless of program location. Purchase a ticket for this evening cruise here.

Wednesday, Sept. 20 — Friday, Sept. 22

Boston Blockchain Week: This event brings together and celebrates the founders, developers, investors, and collaborators that make up the blockchain and Web3 hub that is Greater Boston. The goal is to include educational programming alongside networking and collaboration opportunities. The event features more than 15 panel discussions and over 60 speakers, including the head of Web3 strategy at Puma and the co-founder of Qubic Labs. Purchase tickets now for $75.

Friday, Sept. 22 — Sunday, Sept. 24

Techstars Startup Weekend Boston 2023: Techstars says its startup weekend events allow aspiring entrepreneurs to experience startup life. Hear from local speakers, and also pitch ideas to leaders like Kerty Levy, managing director of the Techstars Boston accelerator. Tickets cost $45 with the code EARLYBIRD20. Ticket covers food, parking, and all other related costs for three days.

Thursday, Sept. 28

Boston Life Sciences Investors & Founders Fall Mixer: This event will include two panels, the first “Diversifying Funding Sources: Investors’ Perspectives” and the second “Diversifying Funding Sources: Founders’ Perspectives.” There will also be time for networking after the event. The free event is from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Tufts University School of Engineering.
