- Cancer biotech Spectrum Pharmaceuticals is getting acquired by Illinois-based Assertio Holdings Inc.
- Boston-based XRHealth is merging with Barcelona-based Amelia Virtual Care. The new company will retain XRHealth’s name. XRHealth is using extended reality to help patients access the same outpatient services typically seen in brick-and-mortar clinics in their own homes.
- Data analytics and advisory firm Escalent has acquired Boston-based C Space and Hall & Partners from Omnicom.
- Ginkgo Bioworks has acquired the assets of StrideBio, a gene therapy startup headquartered in North Carolina.
- Battery Ventures announced the sale of its portfolio company Newforma to Ethos Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm.
