Thursday, November 3

2022 Evening of Innovation: For 37 years, the Evening of Innovation brings together ecosystem representatives to celebrate innovation (over Networking, Dinner and Wine), and crown the 2022 Eddies Winners. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for cocktails and networking. Presentations will promptly start at 6 p.m. A ticket costs $35 and the event will take place at the NorthStar Campus in Lincoln. 

Monday, November 7

Opportunities in Consumer Healthcare: This program will provide a multi-faceted review of this market and its opportunities and challenges. The keynote speaker is Aparna Galiasso, head of consumer package goods for Amazon Web Services. Following Aparna’s remarks, there will be a panel discussion on how consumer healthcare technology development and innovation work together. Foley Hoag LLP will host this event at its Seaport office. Tickets cost $40.

Tuesday, November 8

Build a Cap Table and Understand Dilution Impact of Early-Stage Investment: In today’s difficult investment climate, entrepreneurs should have a clear understanding of the impact of proposed financing — before they talk to investors. The Capital Network and Nutter will bring together legal experts and female founders who have successfully raised to learn about how to build, manage and diversify your cap table. The online event runs from 10 a.m. to noon and costs $25 to attend.

Tuesday, November 8

6th Annual Cannabis Startup Competition Finale: Hear pitches from Boston University student and alumni entrepreneurs in the final round of the 6th Annual Cannabis Startup Competition and find out who wins the $10,000 grand prize. The event is free to attend and takes place from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Boston University Photonics Center.

Wednesday, November 9

Out in Boston | GARAGE PARTY Social: Meet with local queer folks over an exciting night of drinks, good conversation, and networking. The event is hosted by Analog Devices at their office at 125 Summer St. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Thursday, November 10

Roxbury Worx Conference: The conference will explore and shed light on overcoming systemic barriers and accessing opportunities in three expanding sectors: Biotech/Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Green/Bluetech. The all-day event will take place at Roxbury Community College and is free to attend. 

Monday, November 14

Convergence: The Promise and Reality of AI & Quantum: MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and MIT’s Center for Quantum Engineering are teaming up to assemble leaders across AI and quantum to discuss the promise and practical realities about quantum computing, AI, and how they will affect the economy and the world. The all-day event takes place at the Kresge Auditorium and costs between $150 and $350 to attend.

Wednesday, November 16

Salary Negotiation: How to Get Paid What You’re Worth: The purposes of this session are to examine the components of salary negotiation, define the difference between salary and compensation, expand attendees’ understanding of what is involved in the process, and gain skills required for negotiating a compensation package that aligns with their skills and experiences. The online event is hosted by CIC and is free to attend.

Friday, November 18

Authors and Innovators — Julia Boorstin: CNBC's senior media and tech reporter Julia Boorstin comes to Wellesley Books to discuss her new book, "When Women Lead.” The event is free and starts at 6 p.m.

Wednesday, November 30

The 2022 Fire Awards: This year’s Fire Awards honorees have demonstrated their success in raising funds, launching new products, bringing in new customers, growing their Boston footprint and supporting the local community and innovation ecosystem. Join BostInno on November 30th for a cocktail reception recognizing this year's honorees and to see who we name as Inno Blazers in each category. A single ticket costs $50. The event will take place at the W Boston.

Wednesday, November 30

M2D2 IMPACT Cycle 4 Accelerator Pitch-Off: Join the Massachusetts life sciences community as the startups from the Cycle 4 Cohort pitch their medical device solution to a panel of judges. These startups are working with M2D2 to advance the commercialization of their technology through the IMPACT Accelerator Program, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Innovation. The event is free to attend and kicks off at 4 p.m. at the UMass Lowell iHub.
