Monday, October 3

Barracuda Bowl 2022 HealthTech Pitch Event: Five entrepreneurs in the health security space will face tough questions from a panel of respected life sciences investors and influencers in this annual "Shark Tank"-style pitch event. The emcee is Kenn Turner, president and CEO of Massachusetts Life Sciences Center. The free event will take place at One Financial Center and starts at 3 p.m.

Thursday, October 6

EnergyBar — Go Make 2022 Kickoff: Celebrate the kickoff of the Greentown Go startup-corporate partnerships accelerator program focused on decarbonizing supply chains. At the event, attendees will hear from panels of industry experts, hear lightning pitches from the startup finalists, and network with industry leaders. The free event will take place at Greentown Labs from 5-8 p.m.

Thursday, October 6

ChileMass Innovation Day 2022: This annual summit is an open meeting space for actors from the United States and Chile's innovation ecosystems. The day-long event will include keynote speakers, discussion panels, and time for networking and matchmaking sessions during coffee break and lunch. Tickets range from $40-$60 and the event takes place at MIT. 

Thursday, October 6

Latino Small Business and Entrepreneurial Summit: This half-day summit, conducted in both English and Spanish, is made up of panels and conference sessions, followed by a reception and evening table-top business resources expo for small business owners to interact and network. This free event starts at 1 p.m. at District Hall. 

Tuesday, October 11

Gulf of Maine Seafood Sprint — Innovation Showcase: Startups developing solutions to a range of challenges in the Gulf of Maine's seafood system will gather at CIC One Broadway to pitch their businesses. Following the pitches will be an opportunity to network and meet the startups in CICs Venture Cafe. This free event is from 3-7 p.m.

Thursday, October 13

Startup CPG Boston Meetup with Pickleball: Startup CPG is the national network for emerging brands working toward a better food system. The group is hosting a pickleball networking event in Jamaica Plain. The event is from 6-8 p.m. at 12 Carolina Ave. Boston, Mass. 02130. Tickets cost $12-$20.

Thursday, October 13

Northstar Campus SBIR Grant Pitch Day Competition: The Northstar Campus Pitch Day returns for its third year to showcase some of the Boston startup ecosystem's cutting-edge technology. The free event will take place at the Northstar Campus and start at 4 p.m.

Tuesday, October 18

MCSC Annual Symposium: The symposium is open to anyone who would like to attend, and will be a showcase of the MIT Climate & Sustainability Consortium's work as well as emerging topics of interest to those working in or passionate about the climate and sustainability industries. Session topics will include climate implications of computing and communications, the role of new investment in startups around climate and sustainability and opportunities for finance to accelerate adoption of climate and sustainability solutions. The all-day event is free to attend and will take place at the MIT Media Lab.

Coffee Networking with Boston Entrepreneurs: Stay connected with the Boston entrepreneur community and Innovation Studio. Stop by District Hall in the Seaport for a low-key networking event from 10-11 a.m.

Thursday, October 27

Women, Wine & Tech: After three years taking place in the Philadelphia region, techaWare has partnered with Women at Microsoft (WAM) to expand to New England. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity for networking, professional headshots, career tips, resume and LinkedIn profile building, financial planning and wine tasting. The free event takes place at Microsoft in Burlington from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
