Perfecting the Pitch — An In-Person Workshop for Startup Founders: Allison Byers, founder and CEO at Scroobious, will host this free event at CIC Cambridge. Byers will cover how to structure a narrative and communicate the most important aspects of a business in a way that makes sense to investors. The event starts at noon and lunch is included.

delta v Demo Day: MIT delta v is MIT’s premier student accelerator and this Demo Day is the chance to get a first look at new startups. The event is free to attend, but seating is limited at the Kresge Auditorium at MIT. Get your free ticket or watch online. The event starts at 4 p.m.

Climatetech Career Fair: Come to this event at Greentown Labs to meet its startups and learn about their open positions. Participating companies include Sol Clarity, Singularity, Acoustic Wells and more. It’s free to attend and networking starts at 5:30 p.m.

Intro to Venture Capital — Investing In and Building Startups: This program hosted and held at Glasswing Ventures, is part of the Fierce Urgency of Now Festival that is bringing together diverse, young professionals of color and allies for events. The event will cover successful strategies to break through barriers to access and secure a seat at the funding table. Glasswing is hosting this free event at its office at 275 Newbury St. at 9 a.m.
