- Boston-based health care data company Lyniate merged with CareCom, a clinical terminology management company.
- Boston-based Dynamo Software Inc. has acquired Smonik Systems, a Norwood data management company.
- Taunton-based Copia Scientific LLC has acquired Atlantic Lab Equipment. Copia is a supplier of certified, pre-owned laboratory equipment. It said that through this acquisition it would have expanded abilities to supply, service, and refurbish automation and liquid handling equipment.
- Baltimore-based Prometric has acquired Finetune, a Boston AI-assisted assessment and learning technology company.
- The popular cleaning robot Roomba is going to be an Amazon.com Inc. product. The e-commerce-giant announced it signed an agreement to buy Bedford-based Roomba maker iRobot Corp.
- Boston-based Employ Inc., a recruiting and talent acquisition company, has acquired San Francisco-based Lever, which offers a suite of talent-acquisition products.
- Boston-based Kelp, which helps corporations track and improve their reputations through data and AI, was acquired by London-based Signal AI.
- Boston's Akili Interactive Labs Inc. is the latest Massachusetts-based company to go public after completing a reverse merger.
- An Israeli-Boston security company that was acquired by a software-focused private equity firm completed its acquisition yesterday. It has also made layoffs.
