What are the new talking points regarding data and computing to advance precision medicine and science at scale? What are new innovations when it comes to data management, AI, supply chain, cloud computing, etc.? Attendance costs start at $499 per workshop. Register here. authors@mit presents "Where Futures Converge" with Bob Buderi in conversation with C.A. Webb: Where Futures Converge offers a detailed account of Kendall Square in Cambridge, chronicling the endless cycles of change and reinvention that have driven its evolution. Buderi takes readers on a walking tour of the square and talks to dozens of innovators, entrepreneurs, urban planners, historians, and others. He also considers Kendall Square's limitations—“gentrification gone rogue,” by one description, with little affordable housing, no pharmacy, and a scarce middle class—and its strengths: the “human collisions” that spur innovation. The talk is free to attend and starts at 5:30 p.m. at 160 Memorial Drive in Cambridge.
