Experts on cross-border expansion spoke recently in an online discussion of the power of artificial intelligence, technology and the partnerships taking place between the U.S. and Canada.
The event, hosted by BostInno, the Boston Business Journal and the General Consulate of Canada, included a panel of speakers: Julien Billot, CEO, of Scale AI; Rodger Cuzner, consul general of Canada in Boston; Chloe Holzinger, investment associate, The Engine; Vishal Punwani, CEO, Sophya, and Thomas Ryden, executive director, MassRobotics. BostInno reporter Sam Mintz moderated the panel discussion.
The discussion ranged from Canada's strengths in AI — it produced the most AI patents per capita among G7 nations between 2015 and 2018 — to the ties between Boston and Canada, from entrepreneurship to investment funding.
