Cambridge-based sales and marketing software company HubSpot is expanding its services to podcasting, including one focused on entrepreneurs.
HubSpot has typically provided tools to aid in a company's marketing, sales, services and operations. The launch of the podcast network follows HubSpot's acquisition of The Hustle, a San Francisco-based producer of a popular email newsletter.
“We built this media powerhouse that helped to publish a lot of educational content that helps give people solutions to their problems,” Kieran Flanagan senior vice president, said.
The HubSpot Podcast Network houses six different podcasts. HubSpot's first network podcast member shows include "Entrepreneurs on Fire," "Business Infrastructure," "Being Boss," "The MarTech Podcast," "The Salesman Podcast," and "My First Million."
"Entrepreneurs on Fire," for example, will focus on "inspiration and strategies you need to fire up your entrepreneurial journey and create the life you’ve always dreamed of," the company said, while "My First Million" will look at "new business ideas based on trends and opportunities in the market, and share the stories of how companies made their first million."
“We want to help to inspire people and do so by telling stories from other brands. The podcast network today is only going to get bigger, we try to add our hosts that we think are shining a light on the problems that our customers are trying to solve,” Flanagan said.
