As promised, this year's State of Innovation is jam packed with thought-provoking content, top business leaders and all the buzz about how Boston will maintain its top spot as a leader in innovation. And adding to our impressive list of Startup Institute's Diane Hessan, DraftKings' Jason Robins and HubSpot's Brian Halligan to keynote at State of Innovation, is Bain Capital's Managing Director Steve Pagliuca.

#BOSSOI Keynote: Fireside Chat with Steve Pagliuca, Managing Director of Bain Capital, Chairman of Boston 2024 and Co-Owner and Managing Partner of the Boston Celtics

Steve Pagliuca joined Bain Capital in 1989 as a Managing Director. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Pagliuca was a Partner at Bain & Company where he managed client relationships in the information services and healthcare industries. He was also involved in developing Bain & Company's turnaround practice. Previously, Pagliuca worked as a senior accountant and international tax specialist at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Company in the Netherlands. Pagliuca is also the Managing Partner and Executive Committee Member of the Boston Celtics. In his role as a Managing Partner and Chairman of the Basketball Committee, Pagliuca focuses on enhancing the development and improvement of the Celtics basketball operations.

Pagliuca's most recent and public career move is his new leadership position as Chairman of the Boston 2024 Olympic bid. Pagliuca, already a huge proponent of the bid, was initially brought in to form and oversee Boston 2024's budgeting, fundraising and finances. His step up to Chairman comes at a critical juncture as the city still remains skeptical about the implications of hosting the 2024 Olympics. (Full disclosure: Boston 2024 is one of BostInno's sponsors at the State of Innovation event.)

Join the discussion with Boston's civic leaders, as BostInno presents an exclusive screening of a short feature film on the Olympics’ potential impact on innovation and its effect for the decades to come. Get your tickets today, before they sell out!
