This June, BostInno hosted a half-day event combusting with hot topics and incredible conversations surrounding the state of innovation in Boston's most lucrative industries. Governor Deval Patrick opened the afternoon with an inspiring keynote address and Q & A with Streetwise Media CEO, Chase Garbarino.
The afternoon was filled with poignant panel discussions exploring what's to come for Mobile, Marketing, Sports Management, Fitness, Robotics, Education, Venture Capital, Retail/E-Commerce, Transportation, and so much more. The main stage programming was jam-packed with an address from Mayor Marty Walsh, fireside chats with Jonathan Kraft & Naval Ravikant, and an exciting Billion Dollar Mark panel featuring executives from companies who have reached the billion dollar market cap including TripAdvisor, Wayfair, iRobot, Akamai, and more.
What's more, our panels took a unique twist to simulate hard-hitting conversation. Panelists were surveyed ahead of time on industry-specific prompts and only discovered where their fellow panelists stacked up in their responses as the panel was underway. This approach allowed for genuine reactions from participants and audience-members alike and allowed our panelists to skip the "where do you stand" conversation -- and get straight to the meatier discussions of how, why, and what's next.
