Pitch As Performance: How Music Can Teach Us How To Pitch Great Ideas: From 6:00 p.m. to 8, entrepreneurs and musicians are invited to visit The Loft at Berklee for an interactive pitch event. Learn how to make a great pitch by analyzing performances, and get tips from experienced entrepreneurs. There's pizza, and it's free to attend.

When Engineering Meets Healthcare: Open Innovation Club hosts a panel on the future of engineering in the healthcare industry, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 at WorkBar Cambridge. There will also be a pitch session featuring 12 startups, such as Bioinformatix and Rythm. Tickets are $20 if you register online, and are $30 at the door.
The Future of Talent: Employer Branding: Come meet talent acquisition professionals to hear how to attract the best and brightest of Boston's tech talent. Companies in attendance will learn how to create effective branding for the company culture. This event, hosted by General Assembly and MassTLC, is free.

BostInno De Mayo: If life gives you lemons, join BostInno because we'll give you tequila. The annual celebration, held at Tia's, is the perfect chance to network with Boston's tech community and celebrate the beginning of spring. Heads up, the event is 21+. Skip the siesta and join the fiesta for only $25.
What's Real about Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality?: This "deep dive into the AR/VR ecosystem" will teach individuals about the current state of the industry, as well as existing opportunities. Panelists from Microsoft, Accomplice VC, Google VR and more will be sharing their insights. The event is held at MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge from 5:30 p.m. to 8. It's free for students, and ticket prices range from $2o to $45.
Open Data Science Conference: Held from May 3 to May 5, this conference will cover the latest in AI and data science news through over 20 workshops, 130 speakers, and a presumed 4,500 attendees. The keynote will be from Jeremy Achin, DataRobot's CEO. The event will be held at Hynes Convention Center and tickets range from $499 to $1999.
BREAKTHROUGH: Women's Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition: Hosted by Women Innovating Now (WIN) through Babson College, this pitch competition was created to celebrate and reward women entrepreneurship with cash prizes. There is wine, and proceeds from the event go to WIN lab. Tickets are $20.

EnergyBar! 2017: Greentown Labs will host a cleantech networking session in its Somerville office, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30. Those interested in energy-related companies are invited to come shake hands, and learn about existing opportunities in Boston. It's free to attend.
Design Night: Build It!: Experience design, making and the future of building in this interactive info session, from 6:00 p.m. to 10, at the Autodesk BUILD Space in Boston's Seaport. Sip craft beers and learn from top creative directors on the direction of the building industry. Tickets range from $20 to $25.

MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition: MIT's Launch Finale, featuring 8 innovative startups competing for $100,000 in funding, will begin at 7 p.m. at 48 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. There will be over 1,200 students, teachers and innovators in attendance, so make sure to reserve a spot and get your network on. It is free to attend.
New England Venture Capital Association is hosting its 2017 NEVY awards, recognizing New England's most innovative and driven minds. With an open bar and a night themed around "cajun spice and bayou charm," the celebration will run from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30.
