Introducing the 2017 Tech Madness Bracket

Who will cut down the proverbial 2017 Tech Madness net?

Today, we are thrilled to unveil the 2017 Tech Madness Bracket, a friendly competition designed to generate awareness and excitement for Boston's tech community. (Round One voting is now LIVE!)

The selection and seeding of the companies is based on a number of factors, including amount of funding raised, age, number of employees and insights from our editorial staff on trajectory, product and industry. You'll find some familiar anchor names and some brand new upstarts. Don't count anyone out; last year 11 and 13-seeds SnapApp and Drizly made a BIG run at the crown.

Here's how this works. Over the next few weeks we'll have six rounds of voting, where you the readers weigh in and answer the important question: Who do you think will have the greatest impact in five years' time? The competition is fierce and will move quickly, so make sure to take a peek at the voting schedule:

Round 1 : 3/22 - 3/27 Round 2 : 3/27 - 3/30 Last Sixteen: 3/30 - 4/3 Quarter Finals: 4/3 - 4/6 Semi Finals: 4/6 - 4/10 Championship: 4/10 - 4/12

If you're a company in the competition, make sure to get your team, followers and fans engaged and voting for you throughout. We will have updates throughout the competition using #TechMadnessBos on our site and on our social channels. Here is our 2017 bracket.
