Monday, March 20

Access Silicon Valley presents a live stream chat with the founder and CEO of Symphony, David Gurle. His company works to provide secure messaging for teams, and recently raised over $160 million from Google. Come learn about revolutionary financial services and messaging services. This fireside chat is virtual and free.

Networking Event for Artists: Meet local musicians, composers, dancers and artists at the Microsoft Store in the Prudential Center, from 1:00 p.m. to 3. Come ready to collaborate on brainstorming, offer career advice and share ideas for future projects. The casual tech networking session is hosted by Syntheater, and it is free to register.

#WillWorkForFood: Those interested in working for a fun foodtech startup should attend this internship fair, from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., at The Kitchen at 6 Congress St. Thanks to Branchfood, attendees will get to hear about career opportunities from various food startups, including Spoiler Alert, Clover Food Lab and Bon Me. The event is free for students, graduates and professionals. Make sure to bring out that business casual!

Tuesday, March 21

BostInno’s 2017 Tech Madness: Come witness our official Tech Madness bracket at our reveal party, at Game on Fenway from 6:00 p.m. to 9. If you’re late to the party, here’s the rundown. Our annual event showcases and hypes up the city’s tech companies. Readers choose which company they think will be the most valuable in five years, through week by week voting. Come see the players, from late-stage tech companies to seed round startups. And before you shame us for self-promotion, get this: general admission is only $25.

Formlabs Sales Mixer: This free event is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30, at Formlabs HQ in Somerville. Experience a sales culture that strays from the traditional, regardless of whether you have a tech background or not. Resumes are encouraged, and prepare to talk to multiple individuals from the Formlabs team. The event is free.

Bootstrapping a MedTech Startup: Presented by the Greater Boston Chapter of Physician Entrepreneurs, Nutter, Merrill Lynch and MassBio, this free event touches upon the basics how to bring an idea to life. The keynote presentation is by Ailis Tweed-Kent, the CEO and founder of Cocoon Biotech. There will additionally be a panel by Platelet Biogenesis. The event is from 6:00 p.m. to 9, at Nutter HQ in the Seaport District. It is free to attend.

Wednesday, March 22

MassChallenge Entrepalooza 2017: Local entrepreneurs interested in receiving resources and support are invited to this showcase from 6:00 p.m. to 9, at Royale Boston. MassChallenge teamed up with a variety of entrepreneur accelerators to set the stage, and give rising startups a place to start. The event is free.

Lesbians Who Tech present their March meetup from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 at Firebrand Saints in Cambridge. The global community invites queer women to share their stories, and learn about how to increase the visibility of lesbians in business and technology. It is free to attend, with a suggested happy hour donation of $15.

First Step Coding hosts this informal chat about the reality of coding schools, including pros, cons and recommendations. Meet panels of instructors from 5 different coding schools, and learn about job rates and intensity of program before deciding which route would fit you best. Speakers include indiivduals from Startup Institute, Launch Academy and General Assembly. Tickets are $10.

Thursday, March 23

TUGG Makes Boston 2017: Get ready to fill up on wine and tequila for TUGG's 11th Annual Wine and Tequila Party, which runs from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 at the Innovation and Design Building in the Seaport. A flagship event for the Boston startup community, TUGG Makes Boston is raising $200,000 for six local nonprofits, including Resilient Coders, Media Girls and Tech Goes Home. Tickets are $100.

MIT Sloan Management Track Hackathon: Facilitating elders aging in place: Held at MIT Sloan School of Management, this conference aims to solve a trending business challenge: how to help the elderly have a better quality of life. Leaders and organizations will use IoT based tools such as wearables and collaborative robots to work toward a solution. The final presentations and judging will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30, followed by lunch.

Exploring the Future of Artificial Intelligence: Demos & Drinks: Hosted by Tech in Motion Boston, this company showcase will highlight innovators on the brink of rapid growth. There’s no formal agenda, just conversation and networking surrounding the up and coming technology of this city. It from 6:00 p.m. to 9 at WeWork South Station. The event is free.

Health Innovators Brainstorm: Stop by Cambridge Innovation Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8 to meet fellow entrepreneurs interested in digital health startups. The event is centered around collaborative brainstorming to solve difficult problems, while being in the company of some of Boston’s highest performers. The session is friendly and informal, and free to attend.

DEN Pitch Competition: The Dartmouth Entrepreneurs Forum Startup Competition is heading to Boston, from 6:00 p.m. to 9, at the Cambridge Innovation Center. Attendees will watch four finalist compete in classic Shark Tank style for a gift of $25,000. Plus, you’ll have the chance to network with investors and entrepreneurs. General admission is $15.

Friday, March 24

DataRescue Boston: Work with Northeastern University Libraries, DataRescue Boston, Boston Civic Media and EDGI in this civic service hackathon. Hackers, scientists, activists and volunteers are invited to Snell library from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30, help preserve build upon the national DataRescue mission: preserve at-risk data. Bring a laptop, as you’ll be working in breakout groups to solve, innovate and debate. The event is free.

Saturday, March 25

TechGen Spring Fling: Aimed only toward undergraduate and graduate students, this second annual spring fling is meant to introduce individuals interested in tech and science to the perfect internship. Meet local experts and startup founders to see what your best fit is, starting at 9:30 a.m. There will be a speed dating portion, where attendees have the chance to network with over 15 startups. It is held at 100 High Street, Boston at Babson College. Tickets are $10 for students.
