Sure, March means St. Paddy's Day in Boston. But it's not all pub crawls and parades this month. Read below for a list of must-attend events going on in the weeks ahead.

Beyoncé's Original All-Female Band

March 2, 8 p.m. – Berklee Performance Center – The band is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, including several original members and former Berklee students, current Beyoncé dancer Ebony Williams '05 and current Beyoncé background vocalist Crissy Collins. And yeah, it's gonna be good (video below). Tix: $8 to $24.

SoWa First Friday

March 3, 5 to 9 p.m. – SoWa Market – Enjoy the first Friday of March by strolling through more than 70 artist studios in beautiful South End Boston. Free.

Boston Massacre 247th Reenactment

March 4, 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. – Old State House – Join the Boston Society for a full day of events honoring the anniversary of the Boston Massacre, "a turning point on the road to the American Revolution." Ticket prices vary.

Chinese New Year

March 5, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Harvard Square – Take in the "colorful and exciting" lion dance and parade your way through Harvard Square en route to The Hong Kong Restaurant where revelers will be met by food, art and music. Free.

Careers in Cannabis

March 7, 6 to 8:30 p.m. – District Hall – Listen as four female leaders from the Massachusetts cannabis industry extol on the virtues of a career in the field and how burgeoning bud-heads can find their foothold in the industry.

Night Shift's 5-Year Party

March 12, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. – Night Shift Brewing – "We've added tanks, employees, partner companies (shout out Night Shift Distributing!), and so much more. There's a lot to toast to, and we're stoked to do it big." Three special-release (and very secret) beers will be offered.

Taste of Iceland

March 16 to 20 – Multiple venues – Highlights include a Icelandic fare at The Merchant, The Reykjavik Calling concert at The Middle East and an Icelandic film screening at the Brattle Theatre.

St. Patrick's Day in Boston

March 11 to 19 – Various locations – From an Irish Stroll through downtown Boston to a day of entertainment (and drinking) in Faneuil Hall to, of course, our beloved South Boston St. Paddy's Parade, The Hub will be awash in green pride this month.

Boston Underground Film Festival

March 22 to 26 – The Brattle Theatre – "Boston’s premiere festival highlighting the bizarre, the troubling and the overlooked returns to the Brattle for their nineteenth year." Ticket prices TBD.
