One of Huntsville’s software development companies recently secured two partnerships and garnered national recognition as a workforce performance innovator.

Between landing two important partnerships and being named No. 40 on the Inc. 5000 list for fastest-growing private companies two years in a row, RippleWorx is making strides in its industry.

RippleWorx was founded in 2017 and uses people-focused science, proprietary AI and individual and organizational development to strengthen and improve workforce performance. By developing human capital management (HCM) software, it provides customers with solutions-driven outcomes that align quantitative key performance indicators (KPIs) and qualitative people-focused analytics.

The company’s most recent deal is with Bow River Capital, a private alternative asset management company based in Denver. Through the partnership, RippleWorx will undergo a major recapitalization using growth capital from Bow River Capital’s Software Growth Equity (“SGE”) Fund II.

The RippleWorx leadership team will also receive support and guidance from Bow River Capital's network of veteran SaaS operational leaders in strategic finance, revenue growth, research and development and AI innovation.

RippleWorx did not disclose the funding amount.

Using the funding and guidance from Bow River Capital, the RippleWorx team plans to scale its platform globally and improve products.

"The totality and complexity of today's workforce dynamics across deskless, non-employee, white- and blue-collar employees, and all taxonomies, has reached an unprecedented level of talent shortages potentially leading to sub-optimal business outcomes," said SGE Associate and Transactional Lead Tyler Lytle. “We believe RippleWorx has the right technology, strategy and mindset to lead the industry, and we're ecstatic to partner with Angie, Timo and their team as they help global organizations shape and reimagine the future of human performance."

Another deal RippleWorx inked this year is with the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association (ISA), through which the ISA will use a $500,000 grant from the Criminal Justice Institute to invest in a comprehensive law enforcement wellness initiative powered by RippleWorx.

The collaboration, named MAGNUSWorx, will employ the technology and people science platform of RippleWorx to enhance officer wellness and communication. The program was met with proactive engagement of 38% of Indiana’s sheriffs when presented at the ISA Winter Conference in 2023.

The partnership brings together experts in psychological trauma, educational command and the application of immersion technology for emotional well-being with the goal of providing law enforcement personnel with resources that speak to their experiences and challenges.
