Linq has named a new chief operating officer.

David Berk was named COO with Linq, according to a press release. Linq provides digital business cards and mobile sales enablement. Berk previously was a senior engineering manager at Apple, was chief technology officer (CTO) with Shipt and was group president of product and technology and CTO at Fetch, a mobile rewards app.

"I've been working with Linq and its cofounders for a few years now, first as an advisor and later as an investor," Berk said.

His role will entail scaling Linq, driving product development and streamlining go-to-market efforts. Linq is preparing to announce several new products and partnerships.

"David has an unparalleled ability to move fast and drive results," Linq Cofounder and CEO Elliott Potter said. "We have hit an inflection point, and David will be crucial in helping us capitalize and accelerate recent growth."

Linq was founded in 2019. Patrick Sullivan and Jared Mattsson cofounded the company with Elliott Potter. Linq helps businesses capture leads and enroll them in sales and marketing workflows.

The company had 22 employees as of Aug. 7. in 2023, the BBJ previously reported, which was preceded by a $2.5 million seed round in 2022.

Linq was named among the BBJ’s Alabama Inno Fire Award nominees this year. Nominees were selected based on funding, headcount additions, social and community impact, product launches, pivots, growth and more.

Other companies that made the list include Storyteller Overland, Fleetio, Pye, DevClarity, WorkTalo, Condoit, WaveLink, OD Revive, Vulcan Line Tools, Conserv and Autonoma.
