Birmingham fintech company Immediate has hired for its C-suite.
The company has named Kirk Elder as its new chief strategy officer. Elder is a technology veteran who has spent his career transforming high-growth companies. He has also been an Immediate board member since 2020.
“Throughout my career, I’ve always been involved in various startups and tech initiatives, and this new role with Immediate will leverage my professional skillset and entrepreneurial passion,” Elder said. “Immediate has experienced incredible growth over the past two years and I’m looking forward to guiding the strategy for reaching more people with (earned wage access) solutions.”
According to Immediate, the company plans to leverage Elder's track record driving quality improvement, revenue growth and business transformation as the company reaches more potential customers and users with earned wage access.
Elder has been a board member and founder of various startups and technology initiatives, as well as volunteering and advising for community health programs, outdoor programs and small businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Science in physics with a certificate in mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
