INFLCR grabs contracts for new platform

Jim Cavale, CEO of INFLCR, has a new deal and a new product offering.

Birmingham-based INFLCR has secured contracts with more than 210 NCAA DI schools for its new software service.

The service, called INFLCR+ Local Exchange, provides a software portal to connect student athletes with businesses to communicate and fulfil name, image and likeness transitions. The product will soon go live at the schools, which include Arizona, Boise State, DePaul, Florida, Oklahoma, St. John’s, Southern Miss, Syracuse and Texas A&M, the company said.

“Our customers – from administrators, to coaches, to student-athletes – are innovative and engaged, and played a key role in helping our product team design and build the INFLCR+ Local Exchange,” said Jim Cavale, INFLCR’s president. “Our launch partners are so far ahead of the curve; I’m just humbled by the trust that they’ve placed in us and in the Local Exchange.”

Name, image and likeness, or NIL, deals for college athletes are still relatively new, with an NCAA rules change permitting such transactions having come into effect in July. Now, student athletes are able to profit off their NIL, but they also face new reporting obligations to stay within the bounds of school and state rules, INFLCR said.

INFLCR is a content and compliance platform for athletic programs, handling brand building and a path to NIL deals.
