What does innovation mean to you?
For Bronze Valley, innovation is a process by which we analyze, assess and reimagine the current state and employ changes to drastically improve outcomes. Innovation plays a vital role in driving progress across communities, industries and society in general. It can spur economic growth, improve efficiency and contribute to a higher quality of life.
What ways has Bronze Valley innovated and/or created meaningful impact?
We have employed an approach, in our nonprofit business model, to providing capital to early stage high-growth startup companies that is novel and innovative. First, we invest in startup companies that are led by diverse and female founders. This is not happening at scale and is where the innovation begins. Secondly, we have leveraged low to no-cost capital combined with a robust post-investment services platform to fully equip companies to ensure the highest degree of potential success at the earliest stage of the growth continuum.
What else do you want people to know?
We are democratizing access to technology-focused, high-growth entrepreneurship utilizing venture capital. In a relatively short period of time, we have generated an outsized impact. We have invested in 31 companies that have generated over $55 million in revenue, raised $67 million in follow-capital and created over 370 high-quality jobs.
