In the BBJ's third Inno Under 25, we're showcasing some of the region's promising young innovators who aren't waiting to kickstart their careers.

They're acting now.

By thinking global and acting local, these young people are making their presence known, all at age 25 and younger. In choosing the nominees, Alabama Inno sought recommendations from within the region's startup community.

The honorees are posted below and more in-depth profiles will arrive in print and on the BBJ website in September.

  • Abbie Ruesy, 24, economic development marketing coordinator for HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, Madison/Huntsville
