No one ever asks how you want your cake baked on your birthday. They just set one down, try not to burn themselves while lighting the candles and then all the huffin' and puffin' is left to you.

But there's more than one way to light the candles on a cake.

For more, we cut to Firefly Aerospace, a Cedar Park-based rocket launching startup with a rocket testing platform just north of the city in Briggs.

In celebration of the company co-founder Max Polyakov’s birthday, the Firefly team bought a cake, pulled out their cameras and lit it like only an aerospace company can -- with a freakin' rocket.

"His passion and determination are driving forces in Firefly’s march to space," Eric Salwan, director of commercial business development, told Inno in an email. "We’re saluting his 'Full Attack!' attitude toward life by taking a very aggressive approach to starting the birthday celebration!"

But, really, you'll just want to cut to near the end of the video to see that cake get crispy.
