Sixteen companies from Texas, including four from Austin, have made it onto Deloitte’s 2019 North America Technology Fast 500 list. The breakdown by the professional services giant measures the fastest-growing companies in technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech sectors.
The highest ranking Austin company on the list was mobile app advertising company Digital Turbine. The list showed the company, led by CEO Bill Stone, achieved 2,117% growth since 2015.
Down the list, Eagle Eye Networks, a cloud video surveillance company led by CEO Dean Drako, came in at No. 133 on the list with 936% growth since 2015.
DISCO, a e-discovery company that moved from Houston to Austin, landed at No. 152 and showed 774% growth. It is led by CEO Kiwi Camara.
Meanwhile, Asure Software, led by CEO Patrick Goepel, showed 231% growth and claimed the 402nd spot on the list.
New York City-based software company UiPath topped the list, with 37,458% percent revenue growth over the last three years.
Last year, Austin also had four companies on the list. They were Apollo Endosurgery (No. 104), Digital Turbine (No. 296), SailPoint (No. 446) and Q2 Holdings (No. 496).
Back in August, the Inc. 5000 list came out, which also measures growth. That had 100-plus Austin companies on the list. Cece's Veggie Co. was the top local company on that list, ranking third overall with 23,880% 3-year revenue growth.
